The investigation brings viewers into a twilight world of the new Ireland, where slum landlords and criminals prey on the vulnerable.<\/p>\n<p>The cast includes Aissa Maiga (<em>Anything for Alice<\/em>, <em>Bianco e Nero<\/em>), Brian Gleeson (<em>Resistance<\/em>, <em>Phantom Thread<\/em>), Lynn Rafferty (<em>Love\/Hate<\/em>), Orla Fitzgerald (<em>The Young Offenders<\/em>), Jimmy Smallhorne (<em>Love\/Hate<\/em>, <em>Clean Break<\/em>), Barry Ward (<em>End of The F*cking World<\/em>, <em>The Fall<\/em>), Enoch Frost (<em>Skyfall<\/em>, <em>The Desert<\/em>) and Slimane Dazi (<em>A Prophet<\/em>, <em>Rengaine<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Rebecca Dundon, director of acquisitions for international at Fremantle, said: \u201c<em>Taken Down<\/em> is a gripping and authentic drama which highlights the reality of living as a refugee in Ireland today.
