Currently in preproduction, the Turkish version is slated to premiere in October on the FOX channel in Turkey. Fox Networks Group Content Distribution has acquired the distribution rights to the Turkish adaptation to sell internationally.<\/p>\n<p>Dorothy Crompton, VP of format licensing at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution, will oversee the local adaptation\u2019s production on behalf of TCFTVD. The Turkish version will be set in Istanbul and will cover season one of the U.S. storyline.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>This Is Us<\/em>\u00a0is a number one show in the U.S. because it combines superb storytelling with compelling family themes and presents them in a truly unique and authentic manner,\u201d said Gina Brogi, president of global distribution at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. \u201cThese themes are universal and ideal for local interpretation.
