Sally Lindsay (<em>Mount Pleasant<\/em>, <em>Ordinary Lies<\/em>) stars as June, a hard-working mother left determined to salvage her family\u2019s future after a phone call that changes her life.<\/p>\n<p><em>Cold Call<\/em> will go into production later this year\u00a0and will air on Channel 5 in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Channel 5&#8217;s director of programs, Ben Frow, commented: \u201cThe commission of <em>Cold Call<\/em> demonstrates our ambition to offer talented emerging indies the opportunity to deliver brilliant drama in prime time. <em>Cold Call<\/em> is not for the faint-hearted and will have viewers hooked from beginning to end.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lindsay said: &#8220;I&#8217;m incredibly excited to be working with Channel 5 and Chalkboard on<em> Cold Call<\/em>. The pitch was a complete page-turner, the story jumping off the page straight away. I can&#8217;t wait to bring this very modern thriller alive; exploring how far a very normal woman will be stretched when she is horribly deceived and her entire life and family are destroyed.
