The story in the series begins shortly after the conclusion of <em>KL Gangster 1<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Francis, iflix&#8217;s global director of original programming, said, \u201c<em>KL Gangster: Underworld<\/em> underscores iflix\u2019s passion to elevate the overall television industry. It may surprise some to learn we work with movie producers to create television series, to deliver stories\u00a0that are executed in fresh, exciting, and differentiated ways, and still resonate deeply with our local audiences.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to make <em>KLGU<\/em> available to audiences in Southeast Asia as a tentpole of our newly launched free tier.
