Ireland’s Virgin Media Television (formerly TV3 Group) is currently seeking submissions for a new post-watershed, six-part drama for 2019-20.<\/p>\n

The call is for “contemporary themes, new and exciting visual styles and narratives focusing on original, noisy ideas with a view to potentially returnable, brand-defining series.” The aim is to attach new, upcoming talent alongside more prominent, internationally recognizable faces. The overall style and production values must strive for “international standards and appeal,” with content that may be of interest to a wider audience. Most important, though, is “confident storytelling.”<\/p>\n

The budget is to be made up of local funding, grant initiatives and international partners, complementing Virgin’s initial investment.<\/p>\n
