{"id":9652,"date":"2018-06-27T03:37:17","date_gmt":"2018-06-27T07:37:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/charter-picks-l-s-finest\/"},"modified":"2018-06-27T12:18:10","modified_gmt":"2018-06-27T16:18:10","slug":"charter-picks-up-l-a-s-finest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/charter-picks-up-l-a-s-finest\/","title":{"rendered":"Charter Picks Up L.A.\u2019s Finest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Charter Communications has picked up <em>L.A.\u2019s Finest<\/em>, a female-driven action drama starring and executive produced by Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba.<\/p>\n<p>The Sony Pictures Television series is based on the character Syd Burnett, originally created for <em>Bad Boys II<\/em> by Marianne and Cormac Wibberley and Ron Shelton.\u00a0The show, which hails from Jerry Bruckheimer, marks Charter Communications\u2019 first major series order for Spectrum Original Content.<\/p>\n<p>The series is executive produced and written by Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier and will be joined by veteran producer and writer Pam Veasey as executive producer and co-showrunner. The first 13-episode season is slated to launch in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCharter has a strong passion for the project and we could not be more excited.
