Beth Willis, formerly the head of drama at Channel 4, is joining the production company The Forge as a partner.<\/p>\n
Willis was appointed head of drama in June 2016 after having joined Channel 4 as deputy head of drama in 2012.\u00a0She\u00a0is credited with commissioning\u00a0a range of hits, including\u00a0Kiri<\/em>, The End of the F****** World<\/em>, National\u00a0Treasure<\/em>,\u00a0Humans<\/em>, The State<\/em>, Ackley Bridge<\/em>,\u00a0No Offence<\/em>,\u00a0Born to Kill\u00a0<\/em>and We\u2019re Going on a Bear Hunt<\/em>.<\/p>\n The Forge\u2019s founder and managing director, George Faber,\u00a0said:\u00a0\u201cBeth\u2019s track record speaks for itself. Working with both new and established writers, she\u2019s rapidly built a formidable reputation for commissioning outstanding, high-quality drama.
