DeKnight, who served as showrunner and executive producer on the platform&#8217;s <em>Daredevil<\/em> series.<\/p>\n<p>DeKnight&#8217;s other credits include <em>Spartacus<\/em> and the feature film <em>Pacific Rim Uprising<\/em>. The writer, director and producer will develop series and other projects for the global streaming giant.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSteven S. DeKnight is a multifaceted writer, director, producer and showrunner whose daring visions have gripped audiences for years,\u201d said Cindy Holland, VP of original content at Netflix. \u201cFrom <em>Buffy the Vampire Slayer<\/em>, which become a global cult sensation, to his historical gladiator epic <em>Spartacus<\/em>, and his unforgettable work on season one of Marvel\u2019s <em>Daredevil<\/em>, Steven\u2019s bold, visceral storytelling has left its mark.
