Set to premiere in 2019, <em>The Gloaming<\/em> will be shot in Tasmania. In the series, unorthodox, troubled cop Molly McGee leads an investigation into the murder of an unidentified woman. To solve the case, Molly has to team up with Alex O\u2019Connell, a man she hasn\u2019t spoken to in 20 years, and they discover that the murder has links to a cold case from the past.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Gloaming<\/em> will be produced by Australian companies Sweet Potato Films and 2 Jons in association with Mushroom Pictures. Disney Media Distribution will be taking the show to audiences globally. The series will premiere exclusively on Stan in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Nick Forward, Stan\u2019s chief content officer, said, \u201cWe\u2019re delighted to be working with Vicki and John to bring this extraordinary and unique project to the screen. We\u2019re thrilled to partner with John Molloy and Stan and to create an incredible world for <em>The Gloaming<\/em> in beautiful Tasmania.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Madden said, \u201cI am thrilled to be teaming up with John Molloy, Stan and ABCSI\u2014the perfect collaborators to create this ambitious, international series.
