It is written by Anna Symon (<em>Indian Summers<\/em>, <em>The Wilsons<\/em>) and adapted from the <em>Windermere<\/em> series of novels by Paula Daly.<\/p>\n<p>The drama focuses on the lives of three women living in and around the beautiful surroundings of Windermere. These women are desperately juggling work and home life and coping with the issues raised by modern parenting.<\/p>\n<p>Karen Wilson (<em>The Tunnel<\/em>, <em>Utopia<\/em>, <em>Hustle<\/em>), Diederick Santer (<em>Tin Star<\/em>, <em>Man in an Orange Shir<\/em>t, <em>Grantchester<\/em>) and Symon will executive produce the drama.\u00a0Sue Swift, head of books and adaptations, acquired Daly\u2019s books for Kudos.<\/p>\n<p>Polly Hill, ITV\u2019s head of drama, said:\u00a0\u201cAnna has cleverly woven together two of Paula\u2019s brilliant novels, to create a wonderful modern and layered series.\u00a0 It\u2019s about three very different women on their own incredible and often shocking journeys, whose lives connect at the school gates.\u00a0It\u2019s funny, sexy, truthful and often outrageous, and should have the audience asking what they would do to hold their own family together.
