The forum will provide the opportunity for screenwriters and producers to pitch and seek finance and broadcast partners for new drama productions at an international level. Out of 344 submissions, an international jury of drama experts shortlisted 12 projects representing 10 different countries.<\/p>\n<p>The selected projects are: <em>Angelica<\/em> (U.S.), <em>Dead Head<\/em> (New Zealand), <em>GR5<\/em> (Belgium), <em>Les Mis\u00e9rables<\/em> (France), <em>Strange Fishing Sundays<\/em> (Spain), <em>The Machinery<\/em> (Sweden), <em>The Sources of Evil<\/em> (Germany) and <em>Whatever, Linda<\/em> (Canada). Early-stage projects selected are: <em>Class A<\/em> (U.K.), <em>Revival<\/em> (Canada), <em>Selfies<\/em> (U.K.) and <em>Violator<\/em> (Iceland).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe 12 selected projects are the perfect illustration of the richness of global talent, across all territories and in all genres. We\u2019re delighted to provide a showcase for these projects, all of which have strong potential in the international market,\u201d said Laurine Garaude, the director of television at Reed MIDEM, which organizes MIPTV.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The DNA of this event is to highlight new voices and tomorrow&#8217;s talents.
