Night Shyamalan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Apple has given a straight-to-series order for an untitled psychological thriller from M. Night Shyamalan and writer Tony Basgallop.<\/p>\n<p>The 10&#215;30-minute original thriller will be executive produced by Oscar- and Golden Globe Award-nominated writer and director Shyamalan (<em>Unbreakable<\/em>, <em>Split<\/em>, <em>Glass<\/em>), who will also direct the first episode. T<span class=\"s1\">he project is created by BAFTA-nominated producer Basgallop\u00a0(<em>24<\/em>, <em>To the Ends of the Earth<\/em>), who will write and executive produce the series.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The show will be produced by Blinding Edge Pictures with Ashwin Rajan (<em>Split<\/em>, <em>Wayward Pines<\/em>) serving as executive producer, along with the Escape Artists team of Jason Blumenthal (<em>The Equalizer<\/em>, <em>The Pursuit of Happyness<\/em>), Todd Black (<em>Fences<\/em>, <em>The Magnificent Seven<\/em>) and Steve Tisch (<em>Forrest Gump<\/em>, <em>Risky Business<\/em>), as well as co-executive producer Taylor Latham.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Apple has given a straight-to-series order for an untitled psychological thriller from M.
