It was created by Ralph Martin and Joerg Winger from UFA Fiction and will be produced by Cristian Mungiu and Tudor Reu through Mobra Films.<\/p>\n<p>Directors will be Igor Cobileanski (<em>Umbre<\/em>) and Anca Miruna Lazarescu (<em>That Trip We Took with Dad<\/em>). The writing team comprises Lauren\u021biu Rusescu, Daniel Sandu, Ralph Martin and Steve Bailie. The show counts among its executive producers Winger (<em>Deutschland 83<\/em>\/<em>86<\/em>) for UFA Fiction and Johnathan Young (<em>Wataha<\/em>) for HBO Europe.<\/p>\n<p><em>Hackerville<\/em> will shoot on location in Timisoara, Bucharest and Frankfurt from spring 2018 and is planned for a fall premiere on HBO Europe and TNT Serie.<\/p>\n<p>Antony Root, the executive VP of original programming and production for HBO Europe, said: \u201c<em>Hackerville<\/em> is a fast, fresh and highly entertaining story set on the front-line of one of the biggest modern day threats and with huge resonance internationally. We\u2019re excited to partner for the first time with TNT Serie, our sister company within the Time Warner group, and with Joerg Winger at UFA Fiction and Mobra Films to bring the series and its contrasting worlds to life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hannes Heyelmann, the senior VP of Turner International original programming strategy, added: \u201cWe are proud that TNT Serie\u2019s first international co-production is with HBO Europe. In addition to our hyper-local originals like <em>4 Blocks<\/em>, we would like to broaden our production scope and also invest in series that cross borders.
