It is a FremantleMedia Australia production made with production investment from Screen Australia.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Natalie Dormer (<i>Game of Thrones<\/i>, <i>The Hunger Games: Mockingjay\u2014<\/i><em>Parts<\/em> <em>1<\/em> and <em>2<\/em>, <i>In Darkness<\/i>) stars in the series.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Amazon in the U.S. and Canal+ in France are already on board.<\/p>\n<p>Jamie Lynn, the executive VP, head of sales and distribution for EMEA at FremantleMedia International, said: \u201cWith its globally renowned reputation for quality and the opportunity for this groundbreaking series to reach a deservedly wide U.K. audience, we are very excited to partner with the BBC for <em>Picnic at Hanging Rock<\/em>. This reimagining of the classic Joan Lindsay novel is modern, mysterious, completely gripping and visually spectacular.
