The series is set in a remote and neglected ski resort that has been closed for years, after having been the scene of a horrific crime. The show was the most viewed series when it aired on MTG\u2019s free-TV channel TV3 in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Season two of <em>Jordskott<\/em> will premiere on Shudder in the U.S. and Canada. The series features tough police detective Eva Thornblad (Moa Gammel), who returns to her old job in Stockholm in an attempt to put the haunting events that occurred in Silverhojd behind her and begin a new chapter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith a passion for genre across provocative thrillers, suspense entertainment and horror, we\u2019re delighted to expand Shudder&#8217;s offering of compelling foreign-language genre series,\u201d said Shudder&#8217;s VP of global acquisitions and co-productions, Aurelie de Troyer. \u201cFollowing its huge success in Sweden,\u00a0<em>Black Lake\u00a0<\/em>takes a fresh and ingenious approach to Scandi Noir, while\u00a0<em>Jordskott<\/em> offers an alternative take on the crime drama phenomenon with a captivating second season.
