SKY in New Zealand has inked a set of deals with studios such as Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros., bringing a wealth of new series and movies to its customers.<\/p>\n
A pact with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution positions SKY as the exclusive NZ home for all upcoming titles broadcast on FX in the U.S. “FX is known for terrific original dramas and limited series such as American Crime Story<\/em>, Snowfall<\/em> and Feud<\/em>,” said Lisa Clements, SKY\u2019s head of acquisitions, entertainment and movies. “We have enjoyed a strong working relationship with Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution on their titles from the FX stable for many years. It\u2019s great that we are now entering a longer-term exclusive deal with them for all of the studio\u2019s newly produced series on the U.S. FX network.<\/p>\n \u201cUpcoming FX titles on SKY will include Ryan Murphy\u2019s The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story<\/em>, Feud: Charles and Diana<\/em> and the highly-anticipated Trust<\/em>, the star-studded new limited series from Danny Boyle about the bizarre life of John Paul Getty III, heir to one of the world\u2019s greatest fortunes.\u201d<\/p>\n SKY recently concluded a pact for exclusive first-run content with Warner Bros. International Television Distribution, including titles such as The Flash<\/em>, Supergirl<\/em>, Arrow<\/em> and DC\u2019s Legends of Tomorrow<\/em>.<\/p>\n Extended deals see new blockbuster titles from Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros. coming to SKY Box Office, SKY Movies and NEON. A pact with Sony Pictures Entertainment will bring all of the studio’s new feature titles exclusively to SKY\u2019s movie channels.
