The groundbreaking drama ran on Showtime from 2004 to 2009.\u00a0Beals, Moennig and Hailey will appear in the follow-up, surrounded by a new ensemble of characters.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Ilene and the original <em>L Word<\/em> made me believe that my voice mattered,\u201d said Ryan. \u201cI am beyond excited for the opportunity to usher in the next generation of diverse queer people.
