Pinewood Television, which recently came under the full ownership of StoryFirst, has rebranded as Twelve Town, also penning a deal with Jude Law’s Riff Raff Entertainment production company.<\/p>\n

Pinewood Television was fully acquired by StoryFirst from Pinewood-Shepperton Studios in September. Led by Managing Director Helen Gregory and supported by Director of Co-Production Christian Wikander, Twelve Town will act as a co-producing partner for creators of U.K. and international TV dramas looking for development and deficit financing. The company’s roster of projects has already included The Child in Time, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Kelly Macdonald.<\/p>\n

Twelve Town has now joined forces with Riff Raff Entertainment, led by actor\/producer Jude Law (The Young Pope<\/em>,\u00a0Cold Mountain<\/em>, Sherlock Holmes<\/em>) and producer Ben Jackson (The Young Pope<\/em>, Sleuth<\/em>). The two companies will be working together to build on Riff Raff\u2019s slate of drama projects. Endeavor Content will handle sales.<\/p>\n

Gregory commented, “Twelve Town is our new exciting identity and represents our ambition to develop and produce distinctive modern drama which has global appeal by putting creative talent at the heart of what we do. Our announcement today of the new partnership with Riff Raff reflects these goals. We offer development, creativity and finance at a time when British drama skills are in high demand in an ever-expanding market.”<\/p>\n
