The new TV Azteca series Bad Maids<\/em> (Las Malcriadas<\/em>) will be exclusively available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in LatAm starting October 15.<\/p>\n

Executive produced by Joshua Mintz, Bad Maids<\/em> tells the story of Laura, a young journalist who discovers that her birth mother was a domestic worker in her childhood home and decides to do more research by passing herself off as a servant contracted by the Sweet Home Employment Agency. Across 90 episodes, dark secrets are revealed about a criminal organization tied to this story.<\/p>\n

Launched on September 18, the series airs daily at 10:30 p.m. on Azetca Trece in Mexico and will be available each Friday on PrimeVideo.com starting on October 15.<\/p>\n

Mintz commented: \u201cIt\u2019s an innovative series that uses fiction to touch on very sensitive real-life topics about domestic service, the lack of worth that it represents and the many crimes that can happen under the camouflage of work-placement agencies, including robberies, child trafficking, prostitution and the renting of wombs.\u201d<\/p>\n
