Banijay Rights has sold the new bilingual drama Bang<\/em> to SVT Sweden.<\/p>\n

Created in both the Welsh and English languages, Bang<\/em> premiered on S4C earlier this month. The 8×1-hour crime drama is produced by Joio and Artists Studio for S4C. The series, set in the steel town of Port Talbot, tells the story of a brother, a sister and a gun. Loner Sam has his life transformed when he comes into possession of a gun and starts to break the law. His ambitious policewoman sister Gina is paid to uphold it and makes it her mission to find the owner of the weapon. The series was penned by BAFTA Award-winning writer Roger Williams.<\/p>\n

Banijay Rights will launch a number of new dramas at MIPCOM, including The Restaurant<\/em>, produced by Banijay\u2019s Jarowskij, in collaboration with SVT, Viaplay and Film i V\u00e4st. Juda<\/em> is a thriller series produced by United Studios of Israel for HOT. Resolve<\/em> is a TV movie produced by Banijay\u2019s Screentime NZ, based on a true story in which one brave man takes a stand against gang intimidation, and pays a terrible price.<\/p>\n
