Produced by A+E Studios in association with IM Global Television, the show has been greenlit for ten one-hour episodes.<\/p>\n<p>Denbo (<em>Ronna &amp; Beverly<\/em>) is writing and executive producing. Kohan (<em>Orange Is the New Black<\/em>, <em>Weeds<\/em>, <em>GLOW<\/em>) and Herrmann (<em>Orange Is the New Black<\/em>, <em>GLOW<\/em>) also executive produce.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jenji has always taken interesting and unconventional worlds and given them heart and humor,&#8221; said Liz Gateley, the executive VP and head of programming for Lifetime. &#8220;From the get-go, <em>American Princess<\/em> was a concept we loved as it&#8217;s incredibly relatable to want to parachute from one&#8217;s life in difficult times.
