Previously, Radford was an assistant director on dramas such as <em>Jane Eyre<\/em>, <em>Ashes to Ashes<\/em> and <em>Spooks<\/em> for the BBC, <em>Cracker<\/em> and <em>Hornblower<\/em> for ITV and <em>Britz<\/em> for Channel 4 before becoming a producer, working for such indies as Left Bank, Kudos, Working Title and Big Talk, as well as directly for the BBC (<em>The Game<\/em>, <em>EastEnders<\/em>). Radford also executive produced seasons four and five of ITV\u2019s <em>DCI Banks<\/em> for Left Bank Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>Nick Betts, the director of scripted at BBC Studios, said: \u201cI am absolutely thrilled that Radford will be joining BBC Studios.
