The ten-part series marks the first drama production for the Disney-owned ABC Studios International. ABC is on board as the Australian broadcaster, and Disney Media Distribution will handle the international rights.<\/p>\n<p><em>Harrow<\/em>\u00a0is co-created by writer Stephen M. Irwin (<em>Australia Day<\/em>, <em>Wake in Fright<\/em>, <em>Secrets &amp; Lies<\/em>) and producer Leigh McGrath (<em>Australia Day<\/em>, <em>Secrets &amp; Lies<\/em>, <em>Strange Calls<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Gruffudd said, \u201cI am so excited to be bringing the complex and brilliant Dr. Dan Harrow to life! Looking forward to coming back to Queensland to work on this ambitious and exciting series!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hoodlum Entertainment\u2019s co-founder and CEO, Tracey Robertson, said: \u201cIoan is a much-admired actor and will bring his tremendous talent and charisma to the central role of Dr. Daniel Harrow.\u00a0I couldn\u2019t think of anyone more perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Keli Lee, the managing director of international content and talent for ABC Studios International, added: &#8220;In Ioan Gruffudd, we have found the ideal star to play Dr. Daniel Harrow. Ioan is an incredibly talented and globally acclaimed actor and he brings a complex mix of genius, darkness, humor and charm to the role.
