Abrams, has added Sissy Spacek and Jane Levy to its cast.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by\u00a0Bad Robot Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, the psychological horror series is set in the Stephen King &#8220;multiverse.&#8221; Spacek plays\u00a0Ruth Deaver, the estranged adoptive mother of Henry, a retired professor played by\u00a0Andre Holland. Also joining the cast is\u00a0Jane Levy (<em>Suburgatory<\/em>, <em>Don&#8217;t Breathe<\/em>), portraying Jackie, the death-obsessed, self-appointed historian of Castle Rock.<\/p>\n<p>The ten-episode show is set in the fictional Maine town of Castle Rock, which has figured prominently in King\u2019s literary career. The Hulu original promises to explore\u00a0the themes and worlds uniting the entire King canon while brushing up against some of his most iconic and beloved stories.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason developed the project for television and serve as executive producers along with Abrams, Ben Stephenson and Liz Glotzer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The upcoming Hulu drama Castle Rock, from J.J.
