The next 12-episode season will shoot on location through winter in Melbourne and will be aired on Foxtel in 2018. The show, which\u00a0premiered in 2013, is Foxtel\u2019s longest running original drama.<\/p>\n<p>Foxtel&#8217;s head of drama, Penny Win, said, \u201cAs Foxtel\u2019s longest running original drama,\u00a0<em>Wentworth<\/em>\u00a0continues to set a high bar for our local production slate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is so much yet to unfold with season five premiering now in Australia on Foxtel before any details should be revealed about the sixth season.
