The 10&#215;1-hour original is written and created by former Los Angeles County Sheriff\u2019s Deputy Joe Halpin (<em>Hawaii Five-0<\/em>, <em>Ice<\/em>, <em>The Lottery<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Jackson commented: \u201cI am very excited to be partnering with Sony Pictures Television Networks and Crackle. To be able to bring this story to life is something I&#8217;m looking forward to and Joe Halpin\u2019s personal experience will make this unlike anything that&#8217;s been seen before.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Curtis, G-Unit Film &amp; Television Inc., Storied Media Group and Joe Halpin are the perfect team to take this extraordinarily fast-paced and complex narrative to Crackle\u2019s passionate and engaged audience,\u201d noted Eric Berger, Crackle&#8217;s general manager and executive VP of digital at Sony Pictures Television Networks. \u201cThis is the kind of unexpected storytelling that our viewers have come to expect and we look forward to breaking new ground with this new original drama.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Crackle also closed a deal with the rapper\/actor\/producer to develop the hour-long original <em>RPM<\/em> (working title), written by Leo Sardarian. The drama is set in the working-class streets of Boston\u2019s most corrupt neighborhoods and follows a used car salesman who starts moonlighting as a getaway driver for a Boston crime syndicate after financial ruin threatens his family. Jackson and his G-Unit Film &amp; Television are executive producing.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, the Crackle original drama <em>Snatch<\/em>, based loosely on the popular movie of the same name, will return for a second season in 2018.
