{"id":7557,"date":"2017-04-04T01:00:41","date_gmt":"2017-04-04T05:00:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2017-04-04T12:13:12","modified_gmt":"2017-04-04T16:13:12","slug":"another-season-of-falling-water-for-usa-network","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/another-season-of-falling-water-for-usa-network\/","title":{"rendered":"Another Season of Falling Water for USA Network"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>USA Network has renewed the Universal Cable Productions (UCP) drama <em>Falling Water<\/em> for a second season that is slated to premiere later this year, with R\u00e9mi Aubuchon (<em>Falling Skies<\/em>, <em>24<\/em>, <em>The Lyon\u2019s Den<\/em>) coming on board as showrunner.<\/p>\n<p>The sophomore season of <em>Falling Water<\/em> follows three unrelated people whose worlds collide when they discover newfound abilities to manipulate dreams and, by extension, the dreamers themselves.\u00a0They must determine how to use their gifts after realizing that the fate of the world rests in their hands.<\/p>\n<p><em>Falling Water<\/em> comes from executive producers Gale Anne Hurd (<em>The Walking Dead<\/em>) of Valhalla Entertainment, Blake Masters (<em>Brotherhood<\/em>), the late Henry Bromell (<em>Homeland<\/em>) and Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (<em>28 Weeks Later<\/em>). The series stars David Ajala (<em>Fast &amp; Furious 6<\/em>), Will Yun Lee (<em>Hawaii Five-0<\/em>) and Lizzie Brochere (<em>American Horror Story: Asylum<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Falling Water<\/em> turns the traditional dramatic thriller on its head by tapping into the power of something we all have access to:\u00a0dreams,\u201d said Chris McCumber, the president of Entertainment Networks at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.\u00a0\u201cWe look forward to continuing this bold, completely unique story.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith its striking visuals and stylized narrative, <em>Falling Water<\/em> creates a world where dreams have a dramatic impact on reality,\u201d commented Jeff Wachtel, the president and chief content officer at NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment.\u00a0\u201cGale and Blake executed a thought-provoking and resonant first season.
