The upcoming second season will also stream on Shudder when it becomes available.<\/p>\n<p>The Scandi noir thriller centers on the seven-year disappearance of police investigator Eva Th\u00f6rnblad\u2019s daughter, Josefine. Eva is haunted by the belief that Josefine did not drown during their fateful trip to the Silverhojd Lake, but was abducted. When a young boy goes missing in the same area, this motivates Eva to delve deeper into the mystery of the forest and confront her darkest fears.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Season one of the ten-part series has been produced by Palladium Fiction and is distributed by ITV Studios Global Entertainment. Season two is currently in production and will be available in 2018.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Shudder\u2019s VP of global acquisitions and co-productions, Aurelie de Troyer, said:\u00a0\u201c<em>Jordskott<\/em> has thrilled us with its alternative take on the crime drama phenomenon with elements of supernatural and Nordic-noir mystery.
