NEW YORK: Univision Communications’ Univision Story House has revealed that El Chapo<\/em>, a new drama series about the Mexican drug lord, is slated to begin airing on Univision Network this spring.<\/p>\n

El Chapo<\/em> tells the story of the real-life drug kingpin Joaqu\u00edn “El Chapo” Guzm\u00e1n, who was recently extradited to the U.S., where he faces a 17-count indictment in connection to his\u00a0leadership of the Mexican crime syndicate Sinaloa Cartel. The show marks the first co-production between Univision Story House and Netflix. It will\u00a0debut on Univision in April 2017.<\/p>\n
