PARIS: Federation Entertainment and Authentic Prod are teaming up to adapt Michel Bussi\u2019s novel Le Temps est Assassin<\/em> (Time is a Killer<\/em>) for television.<\/p>\n

The French publishing house Presses de la Cit\u00e9 licensed the TV rights for the novel,\u00a0which has already sold 220,000 copies since it launched just a few months ago.\u00a0Aline Besson and Isabelle Drong of Authentic Prod and Pascal Breton of Federation will co-produce the project, which\u00a0is being planned as\u00a0an 8×52-minute event miniseries.\u00a0Breton and Besson previously worked together as\u00a0co-producers on the hit\u00a0French drama\u00a0Dolmen.<\/em><\/p>\n

Le Temps est Assassin<\/em> follows the destiny of a modern woman, Clotilde. The sole survivor of a tragic accident that cost the life of her brother and their parents in Corsica when she was 15, Clotilde returns to the Mediterranean island many years later with her husband Franck and her daughter Valentine, herself now aged 15. But soon after arriving, Clotilde receives a letter from her mother, Palma, who was presumed dead in the accident.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
