LOS ANGELES: Miramax has secured the worldwide sales rights, excluding Japan, for the miniseries Crow’s Blood<\/em>, created by Japanese producer Yasushi Akimoto.<\/p>\n The six-part horror\/suspense series counts among its executive producers Darren Lynn Bousman, the director of the Saw<\/em> film franchise. The series was produced by Sean E. DeMott for Execution Style Entertainment, along with producers Hiroki Iwasaki for HJ Holdings and Yushi Ito for Nippon Television AX-ON with additional writing by Clint Sears.<\/p>\n Crow’s Blood<\/em>, which tackles the topic of cloning, is set in modern Japanese society.
