The atmospheric mystery thriller examines the complexities of female friendship. The pilot is written by Martin (<em>Animal Kingdom<\/em>, <em>Cult<\/em>), who also serves as executive producer, along with Wells (<em>ER<\/em>, <em>The West Wing<\/em>, <em>Animal Kingdom<\/em>, <em>Shameless<\/em>), Fabrik CEO Henrik Bastin (<em>Bosch<\/em>, <em>The Comedians<\/em>, <em>American Odyssey<\/em>) and Kristen Campo (<em>The Killing<\/em>, <em>The Good Guys<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>The Deep Mad Dark<\/em> marks Wells&#8217; fourth project with TNT, his first being <em>Southland<\/em>.
