When terrorists storm the opening party at the new United States embassy and take guests hostage, a dramatic chain of events is triggered that plays out across the Danish capital with repercussions around the world.<\/p>\n<p>The thriller was\u00a0created and written by Danish screenwriter Anders Frithiof August (<em>The Legacy<\/em>, <em>Follow the Money<\/em>). The producers are Ren\u00e9 Ezra and Tomas Radoor at Nordisk Film (<em>A War<\/em>, <em>A Hijacking<\/em>, <em>Key House Mirror<\/em>), while executive producers include Henrik Bastin (<em>Bosch<\/em>, <em>American Odyssey<\/em>) and Mikkel Bondesen (<em>Truth<\/em>, <em>The Killing<\/em>, <em>Burn Notice<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p><em>Embassy Down<\/em> will premiere in the Nordics in 2018 on MTG\u2019s video streaming service Viaplay and will be distributed worldwide by Red Arrow International.<\/p>\n<p>Henrik Pabst, the managing director of Red Arrow International, said: \u201c<em>Embassy Down<\/em> is one of the most exciting projects I have been pitched in a long time, and something I knew we had to be an integral part of. I am delighted that MTG is joining us on this exciting journey, as we take the series out to the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jakob Mejlhede, MTG&#8217;s executive VP and head of programming and content development, said: \u201cThis major new series deals unflinchingly with some of the most sensitive issues of our time.
