{"id":7029,"date":"2016-11-30T09:40:50","date_gmt":"2016-11-30T14:40:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/nbcu-rtl-germany-tf1-greenlight-new-procedural\/"},"modified":"2016-11-30T11:50:49","modified_gmt":"2016-11-30T16:50:49","slug":"nbcu-rtl-germany-tf1-greenlight-new-procedural","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/nbcu-rtl-germany-tf1-greenlight-new-procedural\/","title":{"rendered":"NBCU, RTL Germany &#038; TF1 Greenlight New Procedural"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LONDON: NBCUniversal International Studios, Germany&#8217;s Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and France&#8217;s TF1 have aligned for a new procedural drama series, <em>Gone<\/em>, based on Chelsea Cain\u2019s novel <em>One Kick<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Noth (<span class=\"s1\"><i>The Good Wife<\/i>,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\"><i>Sex and the City<\/i>)\u00a0<\/span>will star in the 12 one-hour episodes, created by Matt Lopez (<em>The Sorcerer\u2019s Apprentice<\/em>) to be launched in late 2017\/early 2018.\u00a0<span class=\"s1\"><i>Gone<\/i><b> <\/b>tells the fictional story of Kit \u201cKick\u201d Lannigan, survivor of a famous child abduction case, and Frank Booth (Noth), the F.B.I. agent who rescued her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The series order marks the first from a\u00a0unique collaboration between NBCUniversal International Studios, Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and TF1, which was created to secure a pipeline of U.S.-style procedural content. All episodes of\u00a0<i>Gone\u00a0<\/i>will be written, cast and produced\u00a0in the U.S. Mediengruppe RTL and TF1 will broadcast and distribute the series in their respective\u00a0territories, and NBCUniversal International Distribution will license the rights for the U.S. and the rest of the world.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Michael Edelstein, the president of NBCUniversal International Studios, commented:\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">\u201cWorking with Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland and TF1 has been a fantastic collaboration and we are all delighted to be moving forward so quickly on our first series together.
