{"id":6850,"date":"2016-10-18T01:00:02","date_gmt":"2016-10-18T05:00:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/worldscreen.com\/"},"modified":"2016-10-18T09:17:19","modified_gmt":"2016-10-18T13:17:19","slug":"eccho-rights-to-rep-pair-of-mountain-dog-dramas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/eccho-rights-to-rep-pair-of-mountain-dog-dramas\/","title":{"rendered":"Eccho Rights to Rep Pair of Mountain Dog Dramas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LONDON: Eccho Rights has added to its catalog <em>Honor<\/em> and <em>Brink<\/em>, two upcoming drama series\u00a0from Swedish production company Mountain Dog.<\/p>\n<p><em>Honor<\/em> is a Swedish crime show starring Sofia Helin (<em>Bron<\/em>) and Alexandra Rapaport (<em>G\u00e5smamman<\/em>) about a humanitarian law firm run by four female lawyers working on a controversial case. <em>Brink<\/em>, a thriller led by Rakel W\u00e4rml\u00e4nder and Rapaport, follows\u00a0an army lieutenant on leave as she battles\u00a0against big-game poachers and the international crime syndicate behind them.<\/p>\n<p>Both projects have been snapped up by broadcasters in Sweden. The international rights are on offer for presales and co-production at MIPCOM.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Eccho Rights team has a unique expertise in the global market and can take Nordic drama to the next level,&#8221; remarked\u00a0Birgitta W\u00e4nnstr\u00f6m, the CEO of Mountain Dog. &#8220;Following the success of <em>G\u00e5smamman<\/em>, <em>Brink<\/em> and <em>Honor<\/em> are two really strong projects for Scandinavia and the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Caroline Palmstierna, the director of business development at Eccho Rights, said: &#8220;We are so excited to work with Mountain Dog and Birgitta\u2019s team.
