It will debut as part of CTV and Super \u00c9cran&#8217;s 2016-17 mid-season schedule. The character-driven mystery drama is directed by Peter Stebbings (<em>Defendor<\/em>, <em>Orphan Black<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, new cast members have been unveiled: Peter Coyote (<em>E.T.<\/em>) as Henry Sullivan; Aden Young (<em>Rectify<\/em>) as Luke Sullivan; Joanne Kelly (<em>Warehouse 13<\/em>) as Catherine Sullivan; Camille Sullivan (<em>The Man in the High Castle<\/em>) as Helen Murphy Sullivan; Micheline Lanct\u00f4t (<em>Unite 9<\/em>) as Susan Bowden; and Kevin Parent (<em>Cafe de Flore<\/em>) as Sergeant-Detective Charles Cooper.<\/p>\n<p>NBCUniversal International Studios will act as international distributor.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;With production now underway in Montr\u00e9al, it&#8217;s the beginning of an exciting and emotionally gripping six-episode journey,&#8221; said Corrie Coe, the senior VP of\u00a0independent productions\u00a0at\u00a0Bell Media. &#8220;We&#8217;re honored to be working with strong production partners and an immensely talented ensemble cast, and can&#8217;t wait to be introducing viewers to\u00a0<em>The Disappearance<\/em> in 2017.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are excited to begin production on\u00a0<em>The Disappearance<\/em>, our first English project in association with CTV and Super \u00c9cran,&#8221; said Joanne Forgues, producer\u00a0at\u00a0Productions Casablanca. &#8220;We are also thrilled to work with such talented writers, Peter Stebbings as a director, and this exceptional cast who will all bring out the quality of this project.
