The series will portray the early career of one of television\u2019s most famous detectives, Jane Tennison.<\/p>\n<p><em>Prime Suspect: Tennison<\/em> makes its official launch with ITVS GE at MIPCOM next week.<\/p>\n<p>Greg Johnson, the executive VP of distribution for the Americas at ITVS GE, said: \u201cOne of the wonderful things about launching this series to the international market is that <em>Tennison<\/em> feels very topical and fresh, through the many complex and very current themes it explores. Yet it has the benefit of inheriting an international audience of loyal fans who loved <em>Prime Suspect<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Johnson added: \u201cPBS was the original U.S. home of <em>Prime Suspect<\/em> so we are thrilled that they are continuing their association with this brilliant series on Masterpiece.
