TORONTO: Entertainment One (eOne) has entered into a global streaming rights agreement\u2014excluding North America\u2014with Netflix for the new Kiefer Sutherland-led conspiracy thriller Designated Survivor<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Designated Survivor<\/em>, which debuted last night in the U.S. and Canada, follows a lower-level United States Cabinet member who is named president after a catastrophic attack kills\u00a0everyone above him in the presidential line of succession. eOne handles the international rights for the show, which comes from eOne’s The Mark Gordon Company and ABC Studios.<\/p>\n

Designated Survivor<\/em>\u00a0was created by David Guggenheim, who executive produces with Simon Kinberg, Sutherland, Mark Gordon, Nick Pepper, Suzan Bymel and Aditya Sood, alongside showrunner Jon Feldman.
