TORONTO: Canada’s Global has commissioned another season of the original detective drama Private Eyes<\/em> from Entertainment One (eOne).<\/p>\n

The season-two order is for 18 episodes, which will go into production this fall. The show follows the P.I. powerhouse duo Matt Shade (Jason Priestley) and Angie Everett (Cindy Sampson) as they lead Everett Investigations together and test each other both professionally and personally.<\/p>\n

“Private Eyes<\/em> was an instant success for Global audiences and we are thrilled to welcome back a second season,” said Maria Hale, the senior VP of global entertainment and content acquisition at Corus. “We look forward to seeing what’s next for Shade and Angie as their relationship continues to evolve.”<\/p>\n
