It depicts a royal romance in the palace at the time of the Yongzheng Emperor\u2019s passing and during the Qianlong Emperor\u2019s rise to the throne.\u00a0<em>Ruyi\u2019s Love in the Palace<\/em> stars Zhou Xun in the role of the titular character, alongside Wallace Huo, who plays the Qianlong Emperor.<\/p>\n<p><em>Ruyi\u2019s Love in the Palace<\/em> is the sequel of the award-winning series <em>Empresses in the Palace<\/em>. It marks the first epic period drama secured by FNG for markets outside China, and it will be carried by STAR Chinese Channel (SCC).
