LONDON: FremantleMedia has appointed Christian Vesper as executive VP and creative director for global drama.<\/p>\n
Vesper previously spent 14 years at SundanceTV, most recently serving as the senior VP of scripted development and current programming. His credits include The Last Panthers<\/em>, with Sky Atlantic and CANAL+; Rebellion<\/em>, with Zodiak Rights, RT\u00c9 and Touchpaper TV; The A Word<\/em>, with BBC One and Keshet; and Deutschland 83<\/em>, with UFA Fiction and FremantleMedia.<\/p>\n In his new post, Vesper will report to FremantleMedia\u2019s director of global drama, Sarah Doole. He will maintain a base in both London and New York, and will work closely with FremantleMedia\u2019s production companies as a development partner with a focus on bolstering the international scripted development slate. He will also work on his own projects within the company.<\/p>\n Vesper said: \u201cI\u2019ve been a fan of Sarah Doole and the FremantleMedia team for quite some time.
