Starring Corey Hawkins (<em>Straight Outta Compton<\/em>), Miranda Otto (<em>Homeland<\/em>) and Jimmy Smits (<em>Sons of Anarchy<\/em>), the spin-off chronicles an adrenaline-fueled race against the clock to stop a devastating terrorist attack on U.S. soil, in the same real-time format as the first two series.<\/p>\n<p><em>Star<\/em> is a music-infused drama from Daniels and Tom Donaghy (<em>The Whole Truth<\/em>). The series will follow three talented singers as they navigate the cut-throat music business on their road to success. Featuring three newcomers (Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny and Brittany O\u2019Grady) as the young singers, plus Queen Latifah (<em>Bessie<\/em>, <em>Bringing Down the House<\/em>) and Benjamin Bratt (<em>24: Live Another Day<\/em>,<em> Law &amp; Order<\/em>), the series will showcase original music, along with musical fantasy sequences.
