{"id":5985,"date":"2016-04-20T11:00:35","date_gmt":"2016-04-20T15:00:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/the-night-manager-set-for-chinas-youku-tudou-francetv\/"},"modified":"2016-04-20T11:34:14","modified_gmt":"2016-04-20T15:34:14","slug":"the-night-manager-set-for-chinas-youku-tudou-francetv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/the-night-manager-set-for-chinas-youku-tudou-francetv\/","title":{"rendered":"The Night Manager Set for China\u2019s Youku Tudou &#038; FranceTV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LONDON: The John le Carr\u00e9 drama <em>The Night Manager<\/em>, which made its U.S. debut last night on AMC, has been licensed to the streaming platform Youku Tudou in China and the French broadcaster FranceTV.<\/p>\n<p>IMG and The Ink Factory secured the two new sales for the espionage drama. <em>The Night Manager<\/em>, which stars Hugh Laurie (<em>House<\/em>) and Tom Hiddleston (<em>The Avengers<\/em>, <em>War Horse<\/em>), recently wrapped its six-week run in the U.K. and has already been sold into a slew of other markets.<\/p>\n<p>Previous deals include Tele M\u00fcnchen Group for German-speaking Europe, C More and TV4 for the Nordic territories, DR for Denmark, Sky Italia for Italy, BBC First and SBS for Australia, TV3 for New Zealand, and AMC International for Iberia, Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia (excluding Japan), Latin America, Africa and the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>Simon Cornwell, co-CEO at The Ink Factory, said: \u201cWe are thrilled to see the incredible global response to <em>The Night Manager<\/em>, which has now been sold to networks covering over 188 countries.
