Starring alongside Rapace are Louise Nyvall (<em>Pojkarna<\/em>) and Yayaying Rhatha Phongam (<em>Only God Forgives<\/em>). The show, which recently began filming, is due to debut on C More next year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The father\/daughter relationship really caught my eye as I\u2019ve never seen it described quite this way before,&#8221; said Rapace. &#8220;For better or worse, I can relate to it on a personal level.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Announcing new local content is always a pleasure, since our strong Swedish offer makes us unique in the market,&#8221; noted Bo Th\u00f6rnwall, the director of programs at C More.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Farang will be a gut-wrenching thriller\u2014a drama about the emotional, fragile connection between a father and the daughter he has abandoned,&#8221; added Josefine Tengblad, the head of drama at TV4 and C More. &#8220;It\u2019s also an action-packed series.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>Farang<\/em> is produced by Warner Bros.&#8217;s Eyeworks Scandi Fiction in association with Matador Film and co-produced by C More and TV4.
