LONDON: Stan Lee’s Lucky Man<\/em> has been commissioned for a second season by Sky 1, which will air the season-one finale of the original British drama on Friday.<\/p>\n

Season two will see James Nesbitt return to his role as Detective Inspector Clayton as he struggles to control his compulsions and the never-ending battle between good and bad luck. The new ten-part season, co-created by Stan Lee and POW! Entertainment, will air in 2017. It is produced by Carnival Films (Downton Abbey<\/em>, The Last Kingdom<\/em>).<\/p>\n

Nesbitt said: \u201cThey say that you make your own luck and I\u2019m pleased to say that in this case we did! I\u2019m delighted that Lucky Man<\/em> was so popular with viewers and look forward to being back on Sky 1 in 2017.\u201d<\/p>\n

Adam MacDonald, the director of Sky 1, said: \u201cWhat more could you ask for? It’s a crowd-pleasing crime drama combining the talents of Marvel mastermind Stan Lee and award-winning actor James Nesbitt. Roll on series two.\u201d<\/p>\n

Co-creator Stan Lee commented: \u201cWhat a thrill it is that Lucky Man\u2019s coming back for another sensational season! It\u2019s going to be a terrific new ride with Harry and the gang, where fortune smiles on those who catch my king-sized cameo in season two!\u201d<\/p>\n
