{"id":5770,"date":"2016-03-18T09:53:19","date_gmt":"2016-03-18T13:53:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/bbc-worldwide-debuting-lookout-point-drama-at-miptv\/"},"modified":"2016-03-18T12:03:41","modified_gmt":"2016-03-18T16:03:41","slug":"bbc-worldwide-debuting-lookout-point-drama-at-miptv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvdrama\/bbc-worldwide-debuting-lookout-point-drama-at-miptv\/","title":{"rendered":"Cast of The Collection to Attend MIPTV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LONDON: BBC Worldwide is scheduled to premiere its new drama <em>The Collection<\/em> at MIPTV with a screening attended by cast members\u00a0Tom Riley, Mamie Gummer and Ir\u00e8ne Jacob.<\/p>\n<p>Also attending the event are the writer, creator and award-winning showrunner Oliver Goldstick (<em>Pretty Little Liars<\/em>, <em>Ugly Betty<\/em>,<em> Desperate Housewives<\/em>); Emmy Award-winning director Dearbhla Walsh (<em>Penny Dreadful<\/em>, <em>The Tudors<\/em>,<em> Esio Trot<\/em>); and executive producers Anne Thomopoulos (<em>Rome<\/em>, <em>Band of Brothers<\/em>), Kate Croft (<em>Murderland<\/em>) and Pascal Breton (<em>Marseille<\/em>). The exclusive dinner and screening will take place the evening of April 4.<\/p>\n<p>Set in Paris just after World War II, <em>The Collection<\/em> tells the story of the meteoric rise of an illustrious fashion house, led by two very different brothers. The eight-part drama is a Lookout Point and Artis Pictures Production, co-produced with Federation Entertainment and MFP for Amazon Prime Group, France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions and BBC Worldwide Group. It will launch exclusively this year on Amazon Prime in the U.K.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Dempsey, the president of global markets at BBC Worldwide, said: \u201cThere is already huge excitement from international buyers about <em>The Collection<\/em>. The award-winning combination of show-runner Oliver Goldstick\u2019s world-renowned creativity and director Dearbhla Walsh\u2019s proven track record of bringing script to screen, makes <em>The Collection <\/em>a must-see series.
