LONDON: Stephen Garrett, who co-founded Kudos, has launched a new production venture, Character Seven, which is working on a supernatural drama for Hulu.<\/p>\n
Among the projects Character Seven is developing is The Rook<\/em>, a London-set supernatural series for Hulu, in partnership with Twilight<\/em> author Stephenie Meyer\u2019s company Fickle Fish and Lionsgate. Character Seven is also working with Ink Factory on the John le Carr\u00e9 adaptation The Night Manager<\/em>, starring Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie and Elizabeth Debicki. The six-part series will air on BBC in March and AMC in the U.S. in April.<\/p>\n Garrett co-founded Kudos in 1992 and later served as joint managing director with Jane Featherstone. He oversaw such TV series as MI-5<\/em>\/Spooks<\/em>, Hustle<\/em> and Life on Mars<\/em>.<\/p>\n Garrett said: \u201cThere is no longer a barrier between television storytelling and film storytelling. The creative talent is flowing both ways, and it respects neither national boundaries nor the size of the screen. I have always been excited by new types of story and new ways of telling them.
