The project will be produced by 20th Century Fox Television, Imagine Television and Gordon&#8217;s Teakwood Lane Productions. The pilot will feature an all-new cast of characters and retain the real-time format, with each episode representing one hour of an eventful day. <em>24: Legacy<\/em> will center on a military hero&#8217;s return to the U.S. and the trouble that follows him back.<\/p>\n<p>FOX also announced the return of <em>Prison Break<\/em> as an event series. Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell will reprise their roles as brothers Michael Scofield and Lincoln Burrows. The original producing team of Paul T. Scheuring, Neal Moritz, Marty Adelstein and Dawn Olmstead are also returning for the new chapter. Additional details on the new event series will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>The network has renewed the hit drama Empire for a third season.
