\n\tLOS ANGELES: Marvel Television is set to co-produce two new series based on separate comic-book properties: Legion<\/em> for FX Networks and the tentatively titled Hellfire<\/em> for FOX.<\/p>\n

\n\tCo-produced with FX Productions, Legion<\/em> will tell the story of a man diagnosed as schizophrenic who is confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears might be real. Noah Hawley (Fargo<\/em>, Bones<\/em>) will write the pilot and serve as an executive producer alongside Lauren Shuler Donner (X-Men: Days of Future Past<\/em>, The Wolverine<\/em>), Bryan Singer (X-Men: Days of Future Past<\/em>), Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past<\/em>, The Martian<\/em>), Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.<\/em>, Marvel's Daredevil<\/em>), Jim Chory (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.<\/em>, Marvel's Daredevil<\/em>) and John Cameron (Fargo<\/em>, The Big Lebowski<\/em>).<\/p>\n

\n\t“Legion<\/em> is just the sort of ambitious story that Noah excels at,” said Nick Grad, co-president of original programming at FX Networks and FX Productions. “His adaption of Fargo<\/em> for television was one of the most acclaimed television events in recent memory. It’s also an honor to partner with Marvel on Legion<\/em> and to enlist such an accomplished team of executive producers to create this pilot.”<\/p>\n

\n\tDonner, Singer, Kinberg, Loeb and Chory will also executive produce FOX's Hellfire<\/em>, along with showrunners Evan Katz and Manny Coto. The 20th Century Fox Television co-production will center on a young Special Agent who learns that a power-hungry woman with extraordinary abilities is working with a clandestine society of millionaires to take over the world. Patrick McKay and JD Payne are writing the script.<\/p>\n
