Preethi Mavahalli, currently creative director at Poison Pen Studios, is opening the new scripted label Paper Mill Productions, with the backing of ITV Studios.<\/p>\n

During her time at Poison Pen, Mavahalli oversaw the development and production of the upcoming drama Adultery<\/em>, written by Danny Brocklehurst, and the serial killer thriller The Dark<\/em>, based on GR Halliday\u2019s debut novel. Both series are set to launch on ITV later this year.<\/p>\n Mavahalli\u2019s credits also include The Serpent<\/em>, Noughts + Crosses<\/em>, The City & The City<\/em>, NW<\/em>, The War of the Worlds<\/em>, McDonald & Dodds<\/em>, Tripped<\/em> and Next of Kin<\/em>.<\/p>\n Previously, Mavahalli worked as director of drama at Mammoth Screen.
